Pryor Service Ltd. was incorporated in 1979 and specialises in services and repair of liquid gas pumps for use with LPG, LNG and Ammonia products. Predominately used in the gas industry. Shipping unloading pumps and gas processing plants, our clients include many of the large shipping and oil and Gas operators throughout the world. We operate globally and are based in our modern UK based Facility on the South coast of UK. We offer consultancy and service repair all makes of cryogenic equipment using OEM parts and procedures and operate to ISO standards.

PSL was awarded "Authorised Repair Centre" by Ebara International Corporation USA in 2012-2024, and has been involved with cryogenic equipement for over 40 years.

Established in 1979 we specialise in the service and repair of cryogenic pumps and systems. Our clients include many of the large shipping and oil and Gas operators throughout the world. We operate out of our state of art UK based Facility on the South coast of England. We service are repair all makes of cryogenic equipment using OEM parts and procedures and operate to ISO standards. PSL has been serving the gas industry worlwide for over 40 years.

We offer consultancy for service repair and commisioning of cargo pumps and related equipment. We will assist you in process of managing your overhauls and scheduling repairs to meet your deadlines. We can assist with recommended spare parts procurement and assist with sourcing parts for issues that arise during dockings and maintenance.
We offer support for FSO FPSO conversiions and emergency repairs.
Consultancy subsciptions for customer support available.

DYNAMIC BALANCING​​​
All components of an assembly that are required to rotate should be balanced, examples of such components are fans, rotors, impellers and shafts. Imbalance in a part causes unwanted vibration which in turn can cause many other problems such as increased wear to components, loud noise, decreased performance of components and catastrophic failure.
Dynamic balancing is a method of measuring the imbalance in a component using electronic equipment whilst the part is rotated at high speeds, once imbalance is measured it can be corrected by adding or removing material from a part in the appropriate location. In some cases a part may become imbalanced due to bending and can be corrected using a procedure of straightening.
At our UK based facility in Dorset UK we can provide balancing services for shafts motors up to 3 tons. We use an overhead crane capable of carrying up to 10 tons.

FITTING
COMPONENTS​​
Shrink fitting is a method of fitting components that use an interference fit, it does this using thermal contraction i.e. a component such as a bushing can be cooled using liquid nitrogen (LN2) which causes it to become smaller and easily fit into it’s register until it returns to ambient temperature and it’s original size. This method is better than fitting the components using force or heat because it won’t damage the surfaces of the components.

We have been serving the gas industry for over 40 years service repairs to submersible cryogenic pumos. We have experience with Shinko, Cryostar, Airco,J.C Carter and were authorised agent for Ebara Int in the uk for over 10 years. We have experience with ship-board and shore based plant pumps up to 7.5 tons. We are licensed by the environments agency to be compliant with naturally occurring radiation, and can clean and decontaminate during disassembly. MAINTENANCE REPAIRS

We have experiance with all makes of cryogenic pumps including Shinko, Nikiso, Cryorstar, Ebara, J.C carter Until Feb 2024 PSL was authorised service centre for Ebara Pumps in the UK and covering many parts of Europe and Asia. Our clientèle includes many major energy companies using cryogenic pumps as well as many large shipping and ship management organisations worldwide.
